What is
Reiki?
The word “Reiki” is a Japanese word that translates to “Universal Life Force Energy”. Reiki is a part of every single one of us, and anyone can become a practitioner of this healing modality through a process of remembrance, also known as an “attunement”, from a Reiki Master.

The art of Energy healing has been around for thousands of years, but in more recent times, we are taught this healing modality that we know of today as “Reiki” was rediscovered in Japan in the 1800’s by Mikao Usui. The Usui system of Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho) is a developed way of working with this healing energy in order to provide self-healing, and healing for others.
Reiki goes far beyond what we are taught through textbooks and most practitioners. It is something that cannot easily be explained - and instead, must be experienced. It is a form of healing energy which addresses the person as a whole; on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. It is powerful, versatile, and rooted in the frequency of love.

Objects, similarly to people, can receive an attunement from a Reiki Master and become powerful tools to assist us with our own personal healing. You can achieve this by holding the item in your hands, closing your eyes, and imagine your goals/intentions to flow through your hands into your item.
